Teaching

Over the past five years, I have been teaching various level courses at both of my alma maters - Kharkov National and Texas Tech Universities.

I started my teaching career at Kharkov National, where I lectured courses in English, English Translation, and History of Linguistics to the students of the School of Linguistics and the School of Foreign Languages.

During my two years at Texas Tech, I was teaching two freshmen composition courses - English 1301, Essentials of College Rhetoric, and English 1302, Advanced College Rhetoric. While teaching these courses, I have widely used departmental document management/teaching web platform TOPIC and have developed a number of course websites and other training materials.

Also, in the spring of 2003, I was teaching web design to a group of students of Lubbock JJAEP. At the end of the semester, the students assisted with development of the school website featuring original graphics and content.
