Events
What do we do at Canterbury? We sing, we laugh, we read scripture, we talk about what's important to us, and we look for God in our lives. We go on trips, watch Superbowl, have parties. We talk, spend time together, make friends, support each other, and, at times, become each other's family away from home.
We also eat together. Jesus was generous, and he loved to eat! He ate with friends, with sinners, and with strangers. He even taught us to remember his life and ministry through a meal. (If you don't believe us, look up some of these stories in the Bible: Mark 2:15-17, Luke 22:14-19, John 6:4-14.) That's why we always serve a free meal with our worship on Sunday and Tuesday nights.
- Sunday dinner at 6:00 p.m., followed by service
- Tuesday dinner & a movie at 6:30 p.m. and short service at 8:00 p.m.
Check our event calendars month by moth to find something that will be of interest to you, or just come by every Sunday and Tuesday, unless noted otherwise.
