Project description:In Web Development for Knowledge Management class we investigated the power of ASP pages linked to a database. We moved from understanding web pages as static and presentational to viewing them as interactive applications providing users with customized content on demand. The projects we worked on involved setting up a Microsoft SQL Server database, some VB scripting, and hand coding of HTML. Also, expect to see a new English 2311 ASP site here soon. Recently, I have started playing with PHP as well, so I am including one of the knowledge management pages I have created for my class project groups. The CSS layout experiment site will also be PHP-driven, this is when I pass the layout/design stage. |
