Project description:The paper analyzes publication process in a fictitious company Scientific Measuring International (SMI). The analytical part includes chapters describes the company's, its Customer Support Division, and the Publications Department organizational structures, as well as documentation projects management practices, processes, and methods in place. The recommendations part consists of two chapters focusing on short- and long-term measures. Both parts draw heavily on documentation project management, knowledge management, and single-sourcing publications by Hackos, Rockley, Von Krogh, Ichijo, and Nonaka. |
